Juicy Keys

I'm going to my first writing workshop next Saturday. It is being run by the author SARK. I am a fan of SARK and her work, I was a huge fan in college and probably read Eat Mangos Naked several times in those years. I heard of the workshop through my dear friend Kate and decided to take the plunge and sign up. I love to write, but I don't make time for it in my life and I don't push myself to do more with it. That's what the workshop is all about.
We have to read SARK's newsest book Juicy Pens, Thirsty Paper to prepare for the class. I'm so glad. This book is inspiring. I've gotten to the section with exercises and I can't wait to make some time and do them. I've been writing in my journal more as I read the book, and look here I am blogging too!
Being inspired is a great feeling, especially when you feel like it is a level of inspiration you can maintain. I have the time to do this, I have the time to write and read and blog and journal. I'm capturing that time and using it again. It feels good!

That should be a lot of fun. I used to have a SARK journal. I would love to hear how it goes.
